Bio of Janet Roberts
Janet Roberts graduated from Indiana University in 1966 with a degree in Fine Arts, and a minor in Art History. Janet lived in, and exhibited in shows and galleries in the Chicago suburbs for 15 years, and later lived for a brief time in London, where she was juried into the Royal Academy of Art's 212th Summer Exhibition. Janet has exhibited widely in juried shows throughout the U.S., winning numerous awards. Her paintings are in many private and corporate collections, including the Northwestern Mutual buildings, West Bend Mutual Insurance Company, Waukesha Public Library, and the Rehabilitation Hospital of Wisconsin in Waukesha.
Janet is a member of Wisconsin Visual Artists, acting as Program Chair for four years, and co-chairing the Wisconsin Biennial three consecutive times. She has also served as juror for several local and regional art exhibits.
